Birdhead I like your way of thinking brother. You have good opinions / views on bodybuilding theory as well as good facts backing up what you say.
Recent Maxes. Barbell Bench Press - 265 lbs. Barbell Military Press - 187 lbs. Barbell Squat - 340 lbs. Barbell Deadlift - 362 lbs.

yea Brihead good stuff.....I just wish there were more people like us so we could actually communicate and talk about this stuff in PERSON. Everyone i meet has no knowledge nor the desire to educate themselves about the nutrition aspect of bodybuilding. They think its "gay"... They all just want to do their isolated bicep curls and forearm curls and go out to a chinese buffet after.

Ya, I can thank this forum for getting me to finally understand how important the diet is for building strength and muscle. I lifted for many years, and I read a bunch of books on lifting, but I always ignored the diet aspect of it all. I've made more gains in the past 8 months then I ever did. I got the bulking part down. If I ever decide to cut, well that may be a bit trickier. I don't plan on cutting any time soon though since strength is my main focus now, so I don't need to worry about it.

These two comments right here (below) make you my new idol lol ORIGINAL: brihead301 Hell ya IBB. It's awsome when everyday you just feel bigger and bigger. Some hot girl at my work keeps telling me that I look 'buff' today. I say "That's 'cause I am buff sweetheart". Yup, she wants me. AND If you feel like your getting too fat and decide that you want to cut back a little bit, smack yourself in the face go eat a jar of peanut butter, then go squat.

I personally think you should count calories to make sure your getting enough food in. I find that many times I'm not even hungry but I still eat to gain more muscle -Tim

Brihead... you're becoming quite the celebrity with your 11 commandments on bulking!!! It might even spread around the internet like wildfire... I can see it now.. ten years down the road.. someone of a fitness board asks for advice on bulking.. and they're pointed to a thread that has your 11 commandments.. You're forever written in web history as the official urban authority on bulking...known and respected in gyms throughout the world!!!!!! The possibilities are endless... And just think.. most of the regulars on this board will be able to tell their BBing grandchildren.. I actually know Brihead!!! The man, the Myth, THE LEGEND! ORIGINAL: brihead301 Well thank you my friend. I've never been anyone's idol before.

Lol, thanks Smoundzou. Ya that would be cool if I went down in history as a legend. That's my goal! Kscott, nah I'd recommend healthy eating. Fat contains 9 calories per gram though, so eating high fat foods makes it easier to get more calories in. Chicken, Steak, eggs, milk, oatmeal, fruit, veggies, nuts, peanut butter, non-white bread, pasta, etc.... are good things to eat, but don't worry if you eat a cheesesteak or 2 or 3, or some pizza every now and again. Just eat until you are about to explode then eat some more.
