Hey, I have been reading a lot on here about critical and important the eating is. Today i have been working on trying to set up a 5-6 meal a day diet, so far it has been going pretty well, But what should I eat for breakfast! I dont have a whole lot of time for cooking in the morning but, I could manage some cooking. I also have fruit yogurt and cereal available so please let me know what I should be doing!

are you currently trying to bulk up? your weight suggests that you might be trying to add a few pounds. 3-4 slices of toast with peanut butter and a large glass of milk could be a good start to the day.

It usually takes me less than 10 minutes to scramble and cook up a few eggs. I'll have 2 or 3 eggs, scrambled with some previously-cooked brown rice and spinach thrown in.

My quick breakfast is usually 1 cup oats cooked mixed with PB, honey and some dried cranberries... and a protein shake. Regular breakfast is 6 eggs, 1 cup oats, some fruit

What I eat when i have 10 min or less is simple. Grits. I buy a box of quick grits at the store. 1/2 cup of those. with about 1 1/2 - 2 cups of water in microwave for 3 min. cook up 2 scrambled egg's throw those in there. Then I'll throw 1-2 slices of cheese in there. Let it melt and then mix it all up. Very tastey. Got the idea from Ronnie coleman's dvd. Or you can also go the oatmeal w/ milk and cinnamon route. some people dont eat grits because it doesnt have EVERYTHING that oats does, but to each his own. tomato tomah-to heh

My legs are pretty strong for my size but between wrestling, skiing, tennis and many other sports they've gained some strength. Not to mention my weight, which is now actually 112, is merely because ive cut down for wrestling.

Thanks again to everyone helping me out! when we say egg's. Or at least when I say egg.s I use only egg whites and i mix them with a tad of milk, pepper or cheese powder, and scramble them. Just cook the egg's themselves. Can't say I ever had fried egg's. But when you say 'fried' that doesn't sound healthy at all. So which would you choose hah. People don't even eat the egg yolk let alone fry their eggs. So im guessing that would be bad.

Fried eggs are fine just put in a little bit of olive oil mabe get the spray then let it get hot then put ur whole eggs in let em get pretty white then add alittle bit of water to the pan then put a lid on it and let the tops steam if u like the egg runny just serve after that or then flip it so i guess its sort of fried/poached egg but still delicious

Here's a great breakfast...... 2 cups water 2 egg whites, "out of the box" 1 pack of plain instant oats 2tbls of milled flax 2 cups of raw spinach 1/2 cup of blueberries 1 banana 1 scoop of your fav protein powder
There is never enough time to do everything, but there is always enough time to do the most important thing

DON'T FEAR FAT Contrary to popular bull**** opinion, people do not need to avoid saturated fat like the plague. Eat your eggs whole, yolk and all, and don't be afraid to cook them with some organic butter. Olive oil is another option, but not your only option.

Except the spinach lol. I usually have a shake similar to this every morning. I use skim milk and add PB. Its either this shake or eggs and oatmeal for breakfast.

As a safety restriction I don't eat more that 3 yolks every other day. Also It's not that bad to fry your eggs, obviously you're not going to pour a liter of oil on the pan just a bit or a tad bit of butter, it makes it taste so much better. PB and honey sandwich, oatmeal, turkey and cheese sandwich are good breakfasts

my understanding is dietry cholestrol from eggs decreases blood cholestrol production..therefore that's not a problem.. It's trans fats in mrgarine etc that increases all cholestrol levels inc HDL, LDL etc. Your body makes cholestrol regardless of how many eggs you eat. You just don't want to increase that LDL. My understanding anyway..

I fry my eggs, but I use pure butter rather than oil, I know non cold pressed olive oil goes bad under high heat... After all it's made for drizzling and dipping; not cooking! Oats w whole milk whey and an apple...Seems to be my staple!
