Bodyfat estimate? Thoughts on my development?

Here are some pics. What might your thoughts be on BF estimate? It might not be noticed in the pic, but I can see a hint of definition coming into my abs. At least on the top part and at the bottom on the oblequs. Any glaring issues besides BF? Still in a cut. I guess I could have flexed my legs more. Thanks for your time. Update, I have added some pics from July.

Yeah, I am going to go with 14%-15%. It's really hard to tell because it looks like you have lost a lot of fat and you have some excess skin. Otherwise, you have a pretty diesel chest, lacking in traps and lats. Your quads are mediocre, but so are mine, so I feel ya. Round delts, big ass arms. I dunno where you started, but it looks like you have come a good long way.

ya 14-15%. It might be lower depending on how much water weight you are carrying around. Just keep lifting hard and eating as best you can.

OP: You need to work on your back, big time. Your hips shouldn't appear that wide at all. Get the back bigger.

I thought I had been working my back hard. Chins have been a regular like bench press. Maybe I need to do more rows? Ive been doing DB rows for the past 7 week though and before I did not do rows very much. Perhaps thats been an issue? Would rows suit me better as a staple? DB or barbell? Chest I have been pleased with. I did weigh 205 in late 2003. I got there due to junking my diet and ditching working out. Its been slow going since then, and I had a full year layoff during my "dropping the weight" time due to a torn bicep tendon. In the past year I have went from around 155 or so to about 135 to 138. I dont think Im holding water. I try to get about a gallon a day. Traps!!! THEY NEVER GROW!!! Im working on going lighter with shrugs and really feeling the contraction at the top. Maybe that will help. By doing some tape measurments and running them through a calculation I currently get 15% BF. I was at 17% at 150 last year based on the calculator and I see lots of improvement since then in the mirror as well. Any other thoughts?

To build some traps, ditch the shrugs and just deadlift twice per week. Heavy and light. On light days focus on grip. Your traps will swell up along with your back. As I said, you are doing well for the bumps in the road you have had. Let that motivate you.

Yeah id say about 14-15% could be lower. I agree your chest stands out more then anything. In the bottom pics it looks like your legs are coming along really well.

Yes, my legs are starting to come out now that I have taken to deep squats and some deadlifts. In the years prior, I had been riding my bicycle thinking I was working legs enough. If I had to miss a workout, I would miss legs, which happened often. Now I make sure to get my leg training in. I used to think that chest training was the king of upper body. Now I see it as usefull, but I see the back as more important, but I guess that is something im lagging on. How is the back development? Do yall think its in line now or is it still lagging? I think its still lagging since I never see quite as good a lat spread as Id like to see, or it could be that i simply dont know how to pose one well.

I would say 15-18 is pretty accurate, no way is it lower than 15%. People tend to drastically underestimate how much fat they actually have. Why not just buy some calipers or go get it tested to find out.

Try wide grip pull ups for upper back width, trust me you have to pay your dues to get them up to par...I've been after mine for 5 months and just know seeing them come in. As for traps, continue with shrugs but deadlifts will also perk them up...be sure to get them in once a week. You can see results, just continue to hit it hard and eat clean.
