I've had no experience with either book- But how has your experience been without them? What exactly have you tried so far to gain?

I would just say...at my gym, we sell a lot of Body For Life..didn't see much of big gains BUT it only works if you are really into the mood of working hard and do the sacrifices it takes.
Bodybuilding is not writen in books, it is how hard you want it, how hard you train and how good you train.

BTW, body for life is not that good to bulk because they are trying to cut and bulk same time which is really hard because the "user" won't see fast results because he is loosing fat while building mass. Therefore the "user" will either stop using body for life or stop training because he is not willing enough to continue training hard.

This is from what I saw....

I havent' seen Body for Life but Anthony Ellis really knows what he is talking about. his webpage musclegaintips.com is mainly to sell his book, but its a pretty good read for ectomorphs like us. i also recomend subscribing to his mailing list too it has a lot of good info in his emails. i also really suggest looking at the max-ot routine at http://www.ast-ss.com/max-ot/max-ot_intro.asp . its free to sign up with the website or you can print the copy from the DB forum. either way its the only 'correct' way to train. from what i've learned on these websites i've managed to put on about 25 lbs of muscle in the first 7 months( newbie gains but i'll take em). the gains have slowed down a lot now, soon i'll have to start actually counting calories an all that sh*t that im too lazy to do. Ellis put on something like 30 lbs in 3 months but i dout that happens with many people. it takes a long time for ectomorphs to make significant gains but once u start seein results you're hooked, at least with me.

good luck with your bulking
