September 22, 2003 I'm Average according to this scale. Which is what my little accu-measure says as well. Average. I guess that's normal for somebody who's bulking, does no cardio but at least watches what they eat.

but i've actually never had an accurate body fat test done on me, so i highly doubt i have that much body fat... actually, the last test i had was 1 year ago, and it was not accurate, or done by a doctor, or anything. So i actually dont know why im posting, because i have no idea what my BF is... lol, i guess im just bored. hehe

It's a general scale... used with general tools. The closest thing you can do is a hydrostat test where you get submerged into water. I think I posted that website for that in this forum. I use the chart as something general anyway. I mean.. most bodybuilders show up as overweight according to the medical doctor's charts anyway. So take it with a grain of salt.

Hey MDA or anybody else using an accu-measure... How do you do your test, I mean do you simply use your calipers on your stomach or other area a few times and average it out...or do you test different areas of your body and then average them together? With my accu-measure I get about 14mm on my stomache. Which is supposed to equivlate to about 14%. However, I did one of the electronic tests at the gym, ya know the height/weight/age etc... and it put me at 9%. I figure my stomach is probably 14% but the rest of my body is not....or I am just doing the accu-measure wrong. My abs are easily visible, so whatcha think?

I think the 1 point test is pretty inaccurate. But it works for testing to see if your body fat is lower. I never thought it was correct. But I did get lower results when I started doing my cardio. So it showed me that I was losing fat because I combined measuring with an accurate weight scale, same day, every week. Accu-measure is meant to be a one spot test. That's just how it goes. You can use the equipment to do a more accurate test. The 7 spot method. I'm sure this site or someplace tells you where you will need to measure for that. But I agree with you. 1 spot is inaccurate but good enough to show a gain or loss of fat or muscle when used with an accurate scale.

allright thats good. Thanks for the reply, I do indeed need to track the stomach fat and I will continue to do so with the accu in order to keep my bulk lean.
