I don't know if you would call this "workout equipment" per se, but it seemed a suitable place to post this. Do you guys have any recommendations for bandaids or other treatments for foot blisters ? I was going to go buy a regular pack of bandaids, but I want something really sturdy, that won't just peel off when I'm running. Or is there any kind of ointment or something I could rub on them? Especially that stupid one on the back of my heel. Thanks

You should learn how to tape your feet to prevent them all together. There's this book, I think it's called "Taking care of Your Feet". I don't know who it's by. He describes how a runner should tape his feet.

those are both good suggestions above. look into those but heres my two cents too haha. i used to get blisters all the time on the back of my heals when i played soccer. when you get them, make sure you take care of them and clean them. drain them by poking a hole in them (with something clean!) but do not cut off the skin. you want that on there bc the skin below is still soft and vulnerable to getting a new blister. wash it off as best you can and put some neosporine (sp) on it. cover it with a good size bandaid (i've found that fabric ones stick best especially if you're going to run and get sweaty). then make sure you always change your socks and keep your feet as dry as possible after working out. you should look into how to tape your heals up well to prevent further blistering until your skin is tough enough to handle the stress put on them. hope they get better.

I've used band aid blister bandages a regularly for about 2 years now. I rarely get blisters now, but when I do I simply throw a band aid on and I'm good to go.
