This year I have been doing more than ever to get where I want to be and in some areas have made great progress but in other areas Im not so sure. First, I want to thank everybody on discussbodybuilding.com as I have learned a lot from reading this site and check it almost everyday. Im not sure what I am doing wrong but the area I am most focused on looks to be the area I am having the most trouble with. I am about 6'0', 205lbs and guessing about 20-25% bf.  About 2 years ago I was working out 5 days a week following Bill Phillips Body for Life routine. I was about 180lbs and in pretty good shape. Went through some tough times and long story short this past January was about 225-230 and in the worst shape of my life. I got back into lifting and started eating good and since about March Im not sure how my eating/lifting/cardio could be any better. Im cutting now and while I want to put on some muscle, I am more focused on getting rid of the fat I had put on first. While I have lost some weight, I have only lost about 4-5 lbs since April and Im not sure what I am doing wrong. I lift 5 days a week, on average do about 30-40min of cardio 5 days a week, average about 2000 calories a day which consists of about 40-45% Protein, 30-35% Carbs, and about 20-25% Fat. I have noticed more definition in my arms and shoulders but like I said, my weight is not changing much and my waist doesnt feel any smaller. So to focus more, last week I made a workout log to keep track of the weights Im using and the cardio I am doing. Im also going to try using fitday.com more as I have in the past to make sure my eating is good. (I quit using fitday.com after about 2 months of using it because by then I pretty much new how much everything was because I eat most of the same things everyday). Lastly, I started this journal as just another place to keep my records and keep me focused on what I have to do.
