I can rep 45lbs (approximately 27.5% of my BW) 36 times on barbell bicep curls.
whats everyone elses endurance?
This is with no rest btw

Barbell curl 50lbs 100 reps

Nice one NBT, out of interest how long have you been training in endurance and what are good training routines? I wish to know because i wish to train mainly for size and strength right now but once ive bulked to 220-250lbs i am going to do endurance training, my theory is that cutting requires high reps, well...endurance uses high reps, so im going to cut my cut phase and go straight to endurance. Hopefully that will work.

for 3 years almost all my sets were in the 20-40 reps range.and every 2 months I train in the 60-100 reps range for like 12 days.

training routine exemple :
Pecs :
Incline Bench 15-20 reps 3 sets
Bench Press 15-20 reps 3 sets
Flyes or Pec Deck Machine 30-40 reps 3 sets

Il be using that routine when i start endurance, and when i get bored of it (probably about 6-8 months lol) il just switch it up a bit, and then go back to it.

nbt , thats a weird way to workout. never seen anyone with a routine liek that.  and i thought 10-12 reps was good enuf for endurance. haha

well if u wanna be special u gotta have a special workout lol.


The world strongest man train in the 20-30 reps range for almost every exercise...and he's really huge 2.

just a quick question here.
to get bigger faster for a toned person....
more reps with less weight or more weight with less reps?

General mass gaining keep the rep range between 8-12, for strength 2-6, for weightloss and cardio style weightlifting 14-20
