I generally avoid banana's because of the high sugar....however I'd like to know some feedback on this also. Currently, I eat usually oranges, grapefruit, or nectarines...

Considering how most poeple eat, ANY fruit on a daily basis is a huge step forward.

I'm partial to apples and pears, the soluble fiber in them has all sorts of benefits. Citrus is good, the pulp in them means the whole fruit is way better for you than just drinking the juice. Pretty much just try different things, the more variety you have, the better.

Strawberries!!!

Ever since I tried Prolab Pure Whey, strawberry flavor, i'm too scared to try them! It sends shivers down my spine.

From a Gl perspective, the best fruits are: apples (esp. green), pears, strawberries, blueberries, peaches, grapefruit.

Bananas are among the highest GI fruits, and should typically be reserved for post-workout meals.

I usually eat apples, with bananas for my post-workout shake.
