well im actually on the BSN stack and its working great for me..... except i added Muscle Milk to it. ive put on 14 pounds during the three weeks that ive been taking it. and its not water weight because i cycled 2 weeks on and one week off, and during my off week i weighed 160 and i was only drinking maybe 64 oz. of water a day..... also none of it is fat because i still have my good 'ol 8 pack.

That is an incredibly expensive stack. You could get cheaper alternatives that are just as effective.

The question is the best stack and I think you're referring to a company's best stack.  Forget that stuff and create your own stack.  Look at your goals and problems and stack different supps that will help with that.  Here's a quick review of my thought process when I started my stack.

Problem: I workout in the morning and need some quick energy to help me focus and wake up.
Possible supps: Green tea extract, No-Xplode, Coffee, etc, etc
What I chose: I iced green tea brewed the night before on the way to the gym and 2 scoops of no-xplode the day before.

See what I'm saying?  And remember the most useful basic stack will always be creatine, l-glutamine, whey protein, and multi-vitamins.

Okay here is some info.

I'm 16, I'm way stronger than most my age but my body doesn't show it that much. I am currently taking creatine and protein for the first tim in my life although they were the cheapest I could find (Twinlab whey body fuel and sixstar advanced creatine). They havn't given me much, other than a waste of $60 and taste like crap. I work out hard 4 times a week, and do cardio twice a week. I eat about 3000cal, with around 150g protein and very little fat.

Again, I want to gain mass, lose some weight, get energy, but mainly gain muscle.

What is the best stack for me?

Why very little fat. you should eat healthy fats to, there is a reason why fat is in the BIG THREE(protein, carbs, fats). Fats are very important.  Eat more of them.

BigJon is right you should make you'r own stack that is  catered to your own needs unless you can manage to fit into the schedule that works with stacks that you buy together such as the BSN stack or Nxcare's stacks.

Supplements at your age and lack of experience are a waste of money.  Don't let anyone else tell you differently.  Learn proper diet and training, which is the foundation you'll carry forever.

I absolutely agree with this advice.

At 16, save your money for real food and your gym memebership, and spend whatever you have left on girls. Smile

I too, bought into the muscletech hype. Bought in, literally, that stuff in damn expensive, you'll spend $60 a month for each bottle of gakic, leukic, creakic, and whatever 'kic' they come up with next! No wonder why they freakin' have 5 page ads in muscle and fitness mags. For $35 a month, I can just get a tub of xceed, it works way better than any muscletech product, trust me.

Well, I diet properly and train hard. Some harmless supplements wouldn't hurt me on the money side. I don't see what age has to do with it. Not to be a hardass but I am asking one thing and you guys are saying another. I'm willing to spend SOME money, but not a lot which is why I started a thread called BSN Alternatives. I don't want the designer supplements that have the name, but I want someting less known that will cost me less but has almost the same effect.

Yes I understand that I'm young to take the "heavy-class" supplements but I don't plan on taking them forever unless I am planning on being a professional bodybuilder. I'm just looking to do one or two cycles to gain some muscle and get in shape. Then I'll drop the supplements and just train and diet properly.

I think the one thing people tend NOT to do is doing some research. I know there's soo many products out there BUT for the ones your interested in, do some research here on the forums. you'll find the info quite handy in you decision making.

but a lot of products out there doesnt need to be taken with other products that the same company makes. here's my stack:

-ON Whey Protein
-NO-Xplode(30mins pre workout)
-CE-XL(immeadiate post workout)
-L Glutamine
-multi vitamins
-Muscle Milk protein before I go to bed

the more you look into what you, might need, the better you are off. I know you said that money is no object but you'll be disappointed if you spent $$$$ and didnt get any good gains. Personally, that would feel soo ****ty spending any money on something that didnt work or barely got you any gains.

it doesnt hurt to spend a day or two researching muscle supplements dude. so far my stack of supps is really working for me, along with a good diet of food...all this stuff is working great!

Peace,

HiTz
