say you do 3-4 exercises with 3-4 sets per exercise, doing the pyramid program (heavier weights, lower reps as the sets progress per exercise) is what worked for me before. Also, having a calorie balanced, high protein diet with your bulking program doesn't hurt either. :D cheers mate!

gmcdrum ur diet determines how effective ur bulk will be. work out how much calories u use in a day, then add 500 to it and eat eat eat ^ This. Every rep / set scheme works. Just provide 15-40 reps of micro damage for hypertrophy. The muscle and weight you'll gain is depended upon caloric intake VS. caloric expenditure. 5 X 5, 3 X 10, 3 X 12, 4 X 10, 3 X 5, 4 X 4, 4 X 6, etc.. they all work and you'll get bigger and stronger with each, pick one or mix them up as you want to.

MVP, you do realise there are routines which are intended for certain goals, it's not simply a hundred different ways of training for flare and the hell of it, people have researched and theorised what training methods are supposedly best for what.

I don't believe routines determine strength, endurance and hypertrophy, that's more in the volume VS. intensity. Each training method will differ, pretty much all will work - Max-OT, HST, PPL, DC, Sling Shot, etc..

I agree everything will work, but I believe a routine can make all the difference for certain goals. Agree to disagree I guess.
