Im using max ot and my workout goes incline db , flat db, decline bb. I can get 120 on incline , 120 on bench, and 140 on decline. why can i do more on decline then everything else.
Pain dont hurt.

why can u do more on the leg press then anything else ?

why can u run with your legs and u can't run with your arms ?

incline bench press 160lbs 100reps
incline dumbells curl 100lbs 2 reps
stiff leg deadlift 220lbs 100reps

That's the way the cookie crumbles :p
 
Plus it all depends on your technique - how you do these exercises. For example, when you hit decline, the stabiliser muscles you use are potentially stronger than those used for incline...therefore you can push more...
 
Similarly, if you are using different muscle contractions during the lift, you will get different results. Using the above example, you could be pushing decline using all your stabilisers and chest, but then come back to incline you could be just contracting your chest, therefore eliminating the majority of stabiliser effects...hence lifting less weight...

Correct me if I'm wrong here- But doesn't Max OT have you doing barbell bench presses?
As for your question with decline, most people do tend to be stronger in that position.

Weeks 3 and 4 on the site have you doing the Dumbell Bench after inclines, I just started that phase myself :)  And yes I find that my declines are usually about 10 - 15 lbs heavier than flat and incline benching.
