I just want to have one for fun. I hear great things about the Phenom, but I dont think I want to spend that kind of money. I just want to see if this really works, please post the kinds you have used and reccomend, and how much of an increase you have had. Thanks Smile (Plus, how do you measure properly so that if I do get one, I can make sure it fits...)

It really works. But not worth the money, if you ask me- It doesn't really help with any sort of gains that I can see, since the shirt itself "lifts" some of the weight for you- Your muscles aren't really loaded with anything extra.

I dont really care about getting gains from it, I just want to see if it really fits the hype and ups your bench, you know just to fool around with. Will one of the lower end types help. I dont wanna spend $130.00 on a Phenom for messing around when I can get something a little lower in price range heh.

all i can tell u is that u do get gains but not normal ones as ur using the shirt to help the mouscles u normally push with. But it is not worth the money if u r not going compete. Competeing in powerlifting without a bench shirt/squat suit/DL suit...is like playing football without cleats. U really dont need them, but it puts ua t a huge disadvantage.

Just wanted to throw that out there.

If you have no plans on competing they really do not serve a purpose for the recreational lifter. There is a learning curve when benching with a shirt so technigue must be learned and my one cleint that competes in the USAPL gets significant bruising whenever we use it

ive been benching with a bench shirt since i was in 9th grade. I was only 14ish when i started and now im 18. I have tried numerous shirts. And the bottom line is that TITAN makes the best shirts. And INZER makes the best shirts for keeping ur shoulders healthy. So u have a bum hsoulder....u should get an INZER blast shirt. They dont help u much but it protects u. My favorite shirt by INZER is the Rage-X..and my favorite TITAN shirt is the F6...which is my overall fav shirt.

But if u wanna build extra muscle u can use one since it allows to press more weight there ur body can handle.
