I injure my lower back last week and i think its a good idea to put a Belt to protect my lower back. How i choose a belt ? which widht people usggest ? 3-4-5-6 inch ?

Bench: 225 lbs x 3
Barbell curl: 95 lbs x 8
Shoulder press: 150 lbs x 8
Leg press: 585 lbs x 5

The belt is good to protect your lower back. But the problem is that then you dont strengthen your lower back. Make sure your doing hyperextensions. If your lower back is strong enough to support, then you dont need a belt.

As for the width. I just tried em all and got the one that i liked most. Smile

Use a belt for your heaviest lifts. But don't for just "lifts" in general. You want to build the stabilizer muslces as suggested. As far as quality goes, you can't beat Inzer

Look for the competition level belt. 10mm is fine.

It's a GREAT belt. Long lasting. Very good support. I've never used a better one. I know plenty of people who use the old leather belts and love them. I just found this to be very good.

omg they actually make spcial SHIRTS for lifting?

Man i still have ALOT to learn!... Now im motivated to go back to powertraining.
