After fighting with the flu I was able to finally begin my 5 x 5 workout.  I must admit I was kind of worried I had picked very light weights but by the 4th and 5th sets of all three exercises I was feeling it.  Today I woke up feeling good about my performance.  Let´s see how far I can get, hopefully I´ll gain some strength for a bench press competition I got in December, my goal for 1RM by then is 315.  I certainly have the right attitude and mindset when working out, I just need to tweak my diet a bit.  I´ll keep you posted.  Luck to all in your respective trainings.
