Heyo, So basically, I'm no stranger to lifting weights but I've never really set out a detailed long-term plan for myself. I've been reading a ton of articles on this site and many things seem to be conflicting, like whether to do full-body or split, are isolations a waste of time n so forth. I'm looking for some recommended long-term plans, or if any of the veterans here could suggest some beginning workout schemes n then what i should do to switch them up like 8 weeks down the road or so, so as to keep in step with the muscle confusion thing. Any suggestions!?It'd be much appreciated.

www.stronglifts.com <--- tat site has a program "stronglifts 5X5". No i dont get paid to advertise the site. but that stronglifts 5X5 has worked for me and thousands of ppl very well. the program will help u build a very strong foundation. u can download the program free of cost. it comes as a .pdf file. an e-book. also u have the advance stronglifts 5X5 program that will get u sweating for the next 2-3 years atleast before u may want to switch to isolations to improve specific body parts. u can also try "starting strength" program by mark rippetoe. it s a proven program too. but u shell out money to buy the book off the shelf. or u can also download it illegally which i would'nt encourage since there s a lot of hard work gone into that book and it would'nt be ethical to get another person's sweat without any of ur own. OR the cheapest way is to use smoundzou's 3 day split routine that is listed in here. it worked great with my friend who made decent gains. Most important u need to watch ur diet, without which u ll lose, whichever the routine u follow.

Haven't looked at that website above even though it is likely similar to starting strength. I will look at it now though, but I would reccomend starting strength and to eat ALOT.
