And this is all I get. I'm kind of mad. I've been doing everything right, but I'm still not satisfied at all. I'm 16 years old. About 145 lbs. 5 foot 6 I did a bf calc online and it said 17% Can anyone try to estimate my body fat, because as you see I have no 6 pack and I really want one... I've been trying to cut for about 5 days now. =/ Sorry If I only got one pic up.

Step 1: Pull up your pants. Step 2: Visit the nutrition section, and set a diet plan. Step 3: EAT! Step 4: Visit the training section, and set a training plan. Step 5: TRAIN! Step 6: ??? Step 7: Profit.

you've only been cutting for 5 days??? and you expect results...??? hahhahaha. seriously, it doesn't happen overnight. ficarra gave some good input. eat 5 to 6 small clean healthy meals per day, minimize the carbs/calories you take in, and increase your output. that BF will drop slowly, but surely.

^ this is true, but I think he needs a little more mass first, before he thinks about cutting. Or, you can do it like I had to, and it till take you 13 months to gain 8 pounds of lean mass.

At 145 lbs. I'd be more interested in putting on some mass first. Also for what its worth you don't look like 17% BF. If that's a relaxed shot I'd say more like 13 or 14. But either way, get on a good diet (plenty of information in the nutrition section of this forum) and good training routine (also plenty of information, HST might be something to try) like Ficarra recommended. At your age I'm guessing if you eat healthy and train hard you'll be able to add some muscle mass at the same time you drop some BF%. I think you are going to be more frustrated if you just try to "cut" at this point.
Age: 26 Height: 5'10 Weight as of 8/31/08: 160lbs. Current weight: 180lbs. Semi-Clean Bulkin! Current Maxes as of 6/4/08: Squat: 250lbs. Deadlift: 255lbs. Bench: 285lbs.

bulk like crazy right now. u have nowhere near enough mass to cut right now. it would be pointless to cut at this time

I agree with Ficarra..Pull up your pants!! Also I very much doubt your 17% bf...Way too high in my opinion..Go for the bulk. I tried cutting at a little higher fat than you with possibly but doubtfully more muscle than you and it kinda got me nowhere really..Just lower in bf, go for big bulk and then cut...Silver Fox really helped me out with the bulking, suggests HST which after 2 weeks has been amazing, noticing gains already, I strongly advise it!! I bet you'd drop some bf with the added mass too!

yeah your not 17, 13-14 looks about right. But seriously you have been on here awhile, you should have picked up by now what to do/not to do. And like others have said results take time, no way will you ever see what you want in 5 days... I have been cutting for 6 weeks now and lost 12 pounds. It just takes awhile...haha Find out what your maintenance calorie intake is, add 300-500 calories to that assuming you dont do any cardio. Get a good routine and gain some mass. Unless you really want to be that small with a 6-pack...if thats all that matters to you then by all means go for it...

You may want to work on bulking a little cleaner than you've been doing and you may be happier with the results.
