People can use the site for Free?! Are you Nuts?
Most if not all forums on the net seem to be free. There's a ton of information here that members/moderators and admins contribute. Nobody is making a profit here. We aren't getting paid for our time. We simply like talking about fitness and health. I am trying a business model that is different but might allow the forum to re-coup some of the basics costs associated with running it (hosting fees, software upgrades).
A lot of people think I'm clueless to let my members decide how much they should pay, but it actually works out extremely well. After a couple of years of watching one other site that I use do this, it was obvious to me that what I'm really doing is "working for tips", and that turns out to be a very interesting business model.
