Barbell Weight - Sunday, January 07, 2007 5:33 AM ( #1 )
What's the weight on 4' and 5' barbells out of curiosity?

Actually, if anyone has like a list of different barbells and how much they weigh, that'd be great.

Thanks guys.

they do not make 4' straight, but the EZ curl barls are 4'. as far as the weights, for well-made Olympic bars, that is,
  • EZ curl - 20-25 lbs.
  • 5 ft. straight bar - 30 lbs.
  • 6 ft. straight bar - 35 lbs.
  • 7 ft. straight bar - 45 lbs.
For standard bars,
  • EZ curl - 10 lbs.
  • 5 ft. straight - 13 lbs. - 16 lbs.
  • 6 ft. straight - 16.5 lbs. - 18 lbs.
  • 7 ft. straight - 19.25 lbs.
Hope this was helpful.

Oh, I thought the EZ was 15 lbs for some reason. Never thought to actually throw it on the scale. So ive been underestimating myself?

It's worth weighing your bars. My 7' Olympic bar only weighs 40 pounds.
