Bally's Fitness Guide - How does this stand? - Tuesday, October 03, 2006 8:43 PM
You guys are the pros, so I wanted to run this buy you - it's been what i've been using the past 2 weeks (besides a small thing i'll mention later).

I hit the gym Mon-Sat, rest on Sunday.
I do 30 minutes of Cardio, bikes is what i prefer.
Then i trade of weight lifting these two:

Mon, Wens, Fri:

Leg Extension
Leg Curl
Chest Press

Seated Row
Shoulder Press
Triceps Extension
Biceps Curl
Abdominal Crunch

Tues, Thurs, Sat:

Chest Fly
Leg Adduction
Leg Abduction

Hammer Curl**
Triceps Push Down**
Seated/Standing Calf Raise**

Now, i've found all machines necessary and have become reasonably comfortable with them except for things that are ** - I've tried to look them up on the net, but I’m still having trouble located them at the gym.  And to be honest with you I'm pretty intimated to ask folk.

So my first question is do you think this work regiment will be successful at both losing weight and gaining muscle mass - and my second if you could point me to the proper machines for those last three.  I know they can be done with free weights - but being your average somewhat overweight guy - I don't really feel comfortable doing free weights just yet.

Thanks for any suggestions, criticism and help - It's all appreciated.
