Hey guys (& Gals)
     I'm finally ready to get serious and bulk my way to 200 pounds before the year is out. I'm currently 182 pounds. I'm looking to maintain my diet at around 3200 calories with a 40/30/30 splint in Protein/carbs/fats. I've found this is where I gain the most...any less carbs and I feel drained.
 
      As far as my workout I'll be doing every body part twice per week.like this:
 
MON: Chest TRi's
Tuesday: Back Bi's
Wed: Shoulders & legs
Thur: OFF
FRI-Sun: repeat mon-wed
I'll be doing abs 3 times a week
I May split up leg day and do something like Calf exercises on my off day.
 
I'm really excited to get started on this routine and mark my progress,although I WILL NOT GET ALL ANAL about results,as I usually respond well and I look to get good results within the 1st 4-6 weeks.
 
I will be posting my diet as well as my routine DAILY.
 
I get started Tomorrow!

Carbs were a little low today(23%) but today was a work in progress.I was also a little low in total calories but I'll have some Muscle milk before bed tonight,should be OK.
Felt really great today,workout was very strong.Not much loss of strength due to layoff which was surprising.My goal is to gain 1 pound per week which could put me at 200 by august.
I'm really pumped about this routine and can't wait to get back at it tomorrow!

Yeah I was at around 188 before my latest layoff(3 months) I had worked my way up to doing 210 for reps.I was surprised that I hadn't lost much strength while taking time off.
another issue is i'm 43 years old (44 on saturday)  and I've been working out for quite a few years. I know guys my size that press 250-275 for reps.As you age , so do your muscles,I'm still gaining strength at 44 years old,I look to be repping out 225 by the end of summer.

210 for reps is very impressive considering your age.  you can get higher i'm sure though.

i myself have bulked for the last 3 months an am almost 20 lbs heavier. it's a slow process, and it's hard to NOT get discouraged by the slow (up and down process) gaining.

No strength training really
I mostly just try to add an extra five pounds or so every week or two.....

I went way over my 3200 calorie target but....better more than not enough...especially for us ecto's...hahaha.my protein was way too low(29%) and my fats were way too high(41%) although carbs were right on. I'm planning on tweaking my diet this weekend and getting it spot on for next week.

I felt good today although the headache didn't help...but its just something I'll have to endure for a few days. The weather here has really sucked.It has rained for 4 out of the last 6 days. I guess I picked a great time to go on hiatus from my writing and get back into landscaping for the summer....LOL...well i guess the grass will grow...if it ever stops raining...HaHaHa...oh well,its all good!

Hey guys
I just placed my supplement order...wanted to try something new.
So I decided to go with Gaspari supplements. I've really enjoyed SizeOn so I decided I'd try some other products that I've become interested in. so this is what i ordered......
 
Superpump 250 (tried it before...head and shoulders above No-Explode)
Plasmajet         (new NO product...supposed to keep your pumps 8-16      
                     hours later...reccomended to take in conjuction with SP250)
Halodrol Liquigels  (non hormonal muscle builder)
SizeOn                (creatine)
 
I'm going to start this stack on monday of next week,along with Optimum NutritionS' 100% whey and Muscle milk protien. I'll also ,Of course be taking my Multi-vitamin and Glutamine,Flax seed and Michelob ultra. I threw that in just to see if you guys were paying attention.
 
Any how...I guess this journal will serve as a reference log for anyone interested in any of these products.

 Make sure you take something for your joints when you start the Halodrol.  Guys in highschool used to take that, and they would always get sore joints.

 Let me know how the plasmajet works.  The halodrol I guess gave the guys strength.  I don't know though, most of them went away to school the first semester, drank their asses off, didn't workout and now they're in the same school I am, except they can't play football anymore .

Hey guys,
I've been working on getting my diet straight this weekend
and refining my routine. Here is going to be my new schedule:
 
Day 1 Chest/Triceps
Day 2 Back /biceps
Day 3  OFF
Day 4  Legs /shoulders
Day 5  Arm Day
Day 6  OFF
Day 7  OFF
 
I may incorporate another chest workout on Day 6,But for at least the first two weeks this is what I'm going with. I know most of you guys are going to say that I don't need to work Bis and tris twice per week...But I know I do...My arms always respond well to twice weekly workouts....and I like having a Arm only workout...where I can just blast the hell out of them!
 
On monday I start my Halodrol,Plasmajet,Superpump 250,and SizeOn stack. I will be on this stack for the next six weeks. I'm really pumped and excited about trying this Gaspari stack and can't wait to.get started.
 
Halodrol will be taken everyday
Plasmajet and Superpump will only be taken on Woukout days(pre-workout)
Sizeon will be taken daily,as will Protein shakes.

but really wasn't as expensive as one would think.
I ordered from BB.COM and had a $50 off coupon(for orders over $200) which actually dropped my total price below $200...so not really bad for a six week stack.

Hey guys
I'm all hyped up to start my 6 week cycle of Gaspari products.Only one problem...Plasmajets directions are confusing as hell!
This is directly from the box:
 
 
Directions: Each box contains EXACTLY 16 (Sixteen) 10 capsule servings (30-Day Supply). Along with 12oz or more of water or juice, take the entire contents of 1 (One) and ONLY 1 (One) blister card (10 capsules) 30-60 minutes before weight training. Take Plasmajet™ ONLY on the days you actively work out. Plasmajet™ induces its maximum vaso-expansion/strength inducing effects within 2-8 hours after ingestion and can be taken as near as 5 minutes before you start your workout. DO NOT EXCEED (4) servings per week and DO NOT use more than every other day under any circumstances.
 
OK...it says to take it 30 to 60 minutes before training.....I got that! then it says"Maximum vaso-expansion/strength inducing effects within 2-8 hours after ingestion"
BUT
"can be taken as near as 5 minutes before workout"
 
and then goes on to say that it reccommends sizeon and superpump 250 to get the fastest results...LOL...I get that they want to hawk ALL of thier products...I'm taking those as part of my stack anyhow...But this is where it gets dicey....
it goes on to say some people may feel effects 15-45 minutes while others may feel effects after 60 minutes.then you will feel increased effects every few minutes afterward.and will continue to increase these effects for 2-8 hours,and maintain effects for 24 to 36 hours after ingestion .
 
OK...if i take these pills(all 10 of them) 1 hour before working out,I then must take SP250 30 minutes before workout and then sip on sizeon during my workout?
 
I'd read some product logs over at BB.com and one of the Gaspari reps was saying to take plasmajet 2 hours before workout,protein shake 1 hour before workout,SP250 30 minutes before workout,then sip sizeon during workout...LOL
 
Get that everybody...HaHaHa
I'm so freaking confused...
On top of that I've been eating 3200 calories a day and
...I've lost 4 pounds this week...
Down to 177...WTF????
I haven't been this low in over a year!
 
BTW...I tried calling gaspari(anyone got Richs' cell #?)
to get a definite on this but....got a recorded message...
apparently thier office hours are 9-5 mon-fri....LOL

Diet has been good,pretty much on par for my 40/30/30 breakdown.I'm really satisfied with my diet...Just hoping I'll start packing on some pounds!
 
OK...I got some info from the Gaspari people this morning and heres the deal:
It is optimal to take PlasmaJet,2 to 3 hours before working out.The reason that it was written so confusing,was that most people may not have the flexibility to take the pills (all ten of them!) 2 hours prior to working out.You CAN take them 5 minutes before BUT FOR BEST RESULTS it is optimal to take them 2-3 hours before.
 
Alrighty then...LOL....I took Plasmajet 2 hours before my workout....didn't really feel alot but had a giddy feeling about an hour before my workout.I then took a dose(only one scoop) of Superpump 250 30 minutes before my workout. Now I don't know if it was just the SP250 or what but DAMN what a rush....Man I had a MINDBLOWING workout and an awesome pump....I damn near stretched outta my skin! I mean i've taken Sp250) before and used to take 3 scoops but never got this much energy.....I mean...WOW!
 
 We'll see if it wears off as I go along or not...But first impressions have been great! I feel great! I'm still wired and its been 3 hours since my workout! DAY ONE was a success!

I was dead on with my diet.
Had one helluva Back/bi workout.
Plasmajet + SP250 is the Sh!t....
Skin stretching pumps....

Sorry for the delay in posting....
had a wild weekend
 
thursday and friday were both good days in the gym and as far as my diet goes....(well before I drank 17 michelob ultras on friday night!)
that kinda threw my diet off on saturday but I recovered and Sunday was a good diet day.
I feel much stronger after only one week back in the gym.I'm sure the new supplements have alot to do with that! I usually take 2-3 days initially for the soreness to wear off but this week the soreness was gone within 24 hours! I'm sure the halodrol is helping with recovery...either that or plaebo effect...either way recovery has been super!
The superpump / plasmajet has been giving me great pumps even on leg day! we'll see if intensity wanes as i get used to it. Plasmajet claims to keep you pumped for 48-72 hours...haven't seen that yet...but we'll see! energy and intensity has been great though!

word. i take 2-2 1/2 scoops sp250 and i take 1ml of B12 with it and holy cripes what an energy rush.

hey bulkingup. i'm actually on my second box of plasmajet, and the pumps are awesome, but never took it with the sp250. but anyways i was just going to say nice journal and i take my size-on after my workout and it seems to work fine that way to.
