BULK BREAKFAST - Wednesday, October 07, 2009 6:13 PM ( #1 )
Hey Everybody! I recently spent over 30 minutes preparing my breakfast of 6 eggs, oats and a banana add to that the cooking and cleaning of dishes.

TRY THIS....
6x Cracked Egg whites, 3/4 cup of Traditional Oats, Banana, Flaxseed Oil, 1/2 cup of Milk, 1/2 cup of Water and a teaspoon of Choc Powder or nesquick (for flavour)

Throw it all in a blender and let it blend for about 2 minutes to make sure you chop up the oats finely. Add some ice cubes to keep it cool and throw that down the throat.

This all take around 5 minutes and your've got your eggs, oats, fruit, Fat and big time calories required for bulking.

Feedback would be appricated, but sure beats cooking an omlet and than cooking some oats and so on.

I make big breakfasts all the time with fried potatoes bacon and eggs.  But the shake thing with nuts peanut butter protein bananas and oats is when I am in a hurry.

Your breakfasts sounds pretty good and quick.

Anything in the morning upsets my stomach, especially the 1/4 a gallon of whole milk first thing.  One thing that helps is drinking plenty of water when you wake up, I do that every day.

Gotta do what it takes to get freaky huge.  If it means drenching your food in oil to get the calories than by all means do it.  I actually use olive oil primarily, fry my potatoes in it its awesome.  And the added cheese is the BOMB!  Don't forget the veggies, onions mushrooms and bell peppers sauteed in butter!!!!!  I also eat grip loads of fatty ground beef, plus a gallon of whole milk a day.  Top that off maybe some ice cream or other calorie dense food.

Isn't the bioavailability of RAW egg protein reduced to something stupid like 50%?

P.S.  WRONG SECTION.

This should have been posted under Diet & Nutrition.

2 scrambled eggs and a splash of milk, one slice of toast with peanut butter is my current breakfast. when bulking i add a third egg and a second slice of toast, and another protein shake in the day for the extra 500 calories a day.

Well first, I love ketchup, especially ketchup and fried potatoes.

Next, OP, you should stroll over to the nutrition forum (where this should be anyway) and look at the 300 different keto threads. If you eat a lot of eggs, oils, and cheese, you will get a lot leaner, but I'm not going to explain the entire diet here.

Also, I am bulking this winter, but every now and then I do a two week keto recomp where I focus on losing a little flubber, adding a little muscle and getting a lot stronger.

Yeah it is actually better to cook them. Something like 80-90% when cooked depending on your source.  Rocky fails.

That is some concoction. But i guess there are others who may not prefer their meals "shaked." But I'm impressed that you're resourceful and are able to take this down. Kudos to you!

But i guess it wouldn't be bad if you will once in a while have your breakfast on a plate :)
