Arms too tired? - Wednesday, June 21, 2006 11:57 AM
I did a chest workout on Monday, and Tuesday I am supposed to do triceps and legs, but my arms were tired from Monday (they were actually really tight after working out my chest).  So should I be taking a day break between the two or rearranging my workouts?  I try to workout 4 times a week so how should I arrange the muscle groups?

Monday: chest
Tuesday: triceps, legs
Wednesday: back shoulders
Friday: biceps

Thanks
Kevin

Try this-
Monday- Chest/upper back
Tuesday- Legs
Wednesday- Shoulders/biceps
Friday- Triceps/deadlifts
This way, the chest/triceps/shoulder workouts are all spaced out from each other, same as back/biceps. I also put deadlifts on Friday so that you're not doing them for lower back the day before your leg workout.

Thanks, I'll try that out, I figured I would have to rearrange the muscle groups just because any other option brought up a different problem...

you can always try some supersetting with arms. do tris then bis and back and forth until you cant scratch the back of your head. then finish off with some forearm curls to improve grip and head home.
Let the pain come over you, but never overcome you.
