Arms Size Starting to Plateau

Hello there. I'm currently 18 years old. 6 foot 4, and about 200 lbs. I started working out about 4 months ago. When I started out I was 160lbs with 13 inch arms. Now my arms are about 14 3/4 inches, but they have been that size for a couple weeks now. It's a little frustrating not seeing much improvement. I eat a lot and get about 200 grams of protein everyday, and about 2 1/2 weeks ago I started taking creatine. I didn't do a huge loading phase because I heard that you get the same end result whether you do it or not. Anyway, I also haven't been seeing much improvement in my curls. I've been doing 3 sets of 8-10 reps with 30 lb dumb bells for over a month. I try to get all 3 angles in as well. I tried moving up to 35 lbs but could only do 5 reps on my last set. Is there something I'm doing wrong here? Or am I perhaps just being too impatient? Here is my routine (I take a 2 day break after these 3) and these are all 3 sets of (7-12 reps) Day 1: Pushups with 40lbs on my back (because I don't have a bench) Military presses Dumb bell Tricep Extension Day 2: Pull ups Curls Back Rows with dumb bells Day 3: Squats Deadlifts Shrugs

It doesn't seem liike you have much volume to your workout, even though you do quite a few sets. From what i can see, I would say you are undertraining. Add at least two more exercises to each day, take one less day of rest. But I have to give you props, your 40lb increased pushups, seem pretty explosive on how you could do em. Just be patient as well

Just have to gain weight plain and simple. Your arms are not going to continue to grow much at all if your staying the same weight. Bulk up then cut down. When you bulk you can expand the size of your arms and then when you cut you just strive to keep the size in which you have gained while cutting off the layers of fat. It's pretty simple and logical.

IBendBarbells Just have to gain weight plain and simple. Your arms are not going to continue to grow much at all if your staying the same weight. Bulk up then cut down. When you bulk you can expand the size of your arms and then when you cut you just strive to keep the size in which you have gained while cutting off the layers of fat. It's pretty simple and logical. This. And just as a general rule for every 15 lb. you gain, you'll gain an inch on your arms.
Goals by end of 2009: Bench 205 Squat 255 ATG Squat Clean 185 "There is no elevator to success, you must take the stairs."

IBB is spot on, so is Connellly. Contrary to what said suggested earlier in terms of adding volume, I think it's unnecessary, I wouldn't apply progressive overload until you have reached your full potential of progressive resistance. Continue adding intensity (weight) to overload muscles, you have all the exercises necessary to overload your entire body to be honest.

Not really, progressive resistance is what it says progressive (increasing) resistance (intensity) and progressive overload is using various methods, usually by increasing the total volume.
