The thing with cheaper brands of fish oils, or any supplements for that matter is the question of quality.
With fish oils the cheaper generic brand crap isn't tested properly and there is no guarantee whether or not it's free from PCBs, Mercury, Dioxins and other general pollutants.
If you want your body to reflect the potential harm to heavy metals, dioxins, etc. and reflect that poison and high level of tolerance to the stuff you're putting into your body by becoming brittle, susceptible to illness, moderate benefits, then by all means do so.
But I prefer to have my fish oils more pure.
Right now I'm in the mid-zone because I'm not that financially secure but when that changes, I'm gonna go for bigger brands. The best thing on the market right now is probably Biotest's Flameout.
