Hi im new but just wanted if i could ask you guys/ girls something. This is posted on 'supplements' too but i thought i mares well post here as im 16. Basicly i want to bulk up, im on protein shakes (25-50g depending on workout length) per workout and am taking them with alot of water as iv been told this not only ensures the muscles are properly supplied, but that the kidneys are washed through from excess protien. And then iv only experimented very breifly with individual aminos etc. My routine is 4x a week, chest +tris, bis+ shoulders, back+ legs, back to chest+ tris. Enough background, i was just wondering if you had any advice on supplements. My goal is to bulk up however my priority is not to damage myself long term, hence the drinking alot of water with protein. Bearing that, and that im only 16 in mind, is there anything you would reccommend? Went into a health store the other day and there are 10+ shakes, 20 individual amino acids etc, so you have to know what to look for. Cheers for any advice in advance! Joe

Im not a gienus or anything but my uncle knows about everything posible in the lifting and health field...I told him i wanted to bulk up and he gave me good advice an said that i should at least get in 5 meals a day soo.. my breakfast is N-Large ( 40 some grams of protien with lots of callories - its a wieght gainer) then like at 10 i drink met-rx original protien 45g, then i eat lunch, then between lunch and dinner i dry and get it another protien shake .. then i eat diner.... its soo hard to get all that in during school and it sucks lol you probably have the same problem... hopefully some of the admins will help you out

I just got done taking Nitrix, It's nitric oxide, and when you take it with as much protein as you're taking, you will see big gains. Not to mention the huge pump it gives you in the gym, you will work out harder and see bigger gains reguardless. Just look into the stuff, if you try it, I gurantee you'll like it. I haven't met one person who hasn't.

Lord they are hot though, don't touch, I advise. But you are burned, and penalised, of course overdramatise and you get the prize. I am that boy baby girl and now I will end your 9 lives.

I'm using the BSN Nitrix. I've heard the NO-Xplode works well too, but the pills in the Nitrix fit my lifestyle best as opposed to the powder in the NO-Xplode.

i didnt realise nitrix was that much hassle. Iv dsaid this on supplement forum too but as you said, 8pack, that youd recommend amoinos, i was wondering if youd prefer a combined all 20 amino formula/ pill, or would just use one or two? ie l-glutt.

only reason pills are a hassle is "take on empty stomach" or "don't take within 5 hours of bedtime..."

I'd just stick with protein if i were you. I took no-explode for 20 days and didnt really feel the need to keep taking it. you can gain the muscle without the help of supplements
