The routine I gave you should only take about an hour at first, but make sure you keep increasing the weight for all the lifts every workout. As the weight gets heavier you will notice that the workouts start to take longer and longer since you will have to take longer rests between sets. Always start conservatively. Don't start out doing your max weights. For instance, if you can bench 185 lbs. 5 times now max, then you may want to start out the program using like 165 lbs. and gradully up the weight every bench workout. Progression is key with this. You want to be able to keep adding weight to your lifts for as long as possible.

ORIGINAL: dmobley01 give his routine at least 3 weeks but really a couple of months. You lift smart like that and eat right and you will be stronger than your brother with out the roids. bri, at least he didnt say he wanted to get big but not like a pro bb big. Thanks man. 3 weeks my a** though. Stick with it for as long as you possibly can. There's no need to switch to a new routine as long as you are progressing with this one. If he does things right, he should be able to progress for a few months without stalling on any lifts.

No the leg press is not the same as doing squats.
