Any other mandatory supplements I should look into?
-
Saturday, September 06, 2008 2:59 PM
So far i've been taking mainly whey protein, and not taking the creatine because I dislike the taste. Is there any other supplements that I should utilize, to gain mass?

If you are willing to buy another protein supplement you should get casein. It is slow digesting protein that you drink before bed. Eat ALOT of food, and try to make it healthy food too. That is the most important thing. Also if you do not want to get casein protein you could buy cottage cheese instead and eat it before bed since casein protein is found in dairy products. A good cottage cheese recipe that i really enjoy is: 1-2 cups of cottage cheese 1-3 tbsp of peanut butter/almond butter or any nut butter(100% nuts are good, so there is not unnessary hydrogenated oils or other garbage) pack of stevia to sweeten it if you want banana chopped and mixed in some dates chopped and mixed in

yeah you should also look into getting omega oils and multi vitamins. Also this really built guy at the gym was talking about how he gained alot of muscle mass. He said he bought many many plastic cups and many many little spoons. every night he would fill 10 of the plastic cups with 3 tbsp of peanut butter, and put them around his house, and put a little spoon inside the cup. The next day when he would go by the cups filled with peanut butter he would just eat them.

What does creatine taste like? I have some and it doesn't taste like anything in water.

Personally I would recommend a post-workout drink to fight the natural catabolic state the body goes into. Some kind of glutamine etc - There's loads of stuff on the market, and I've probably taken most of them.
Going to hit epistane soon.
