Anthony's Journal - Tuesday, February 03, 2009 2:37 PM ( #1 )
Going to start a journal as of today, at the gym they have nice little sheets that I fill out  with reps/sets in columns all nice and neat, and I'd transfer that to my journal when I get home so I will always have them in the same place from then onwards, buuut, this seems much more convenient... I won't have to flip the pages as often =D

Rofl, totally havn't been doing this.

Started max OT today so I guess it would be a nice spot to start.  Getting my bearings with weight, plus the barbell was taken, so whatever.

Shoulder Day
After my warm up my first max OT consisted of:

Smith seated front presses - 150x6, 150x6, 150x5

Arnold presses - 55x6, 55x6

Smith shrug (never know if I'm doing this right, feels like it though) - 335x6, 385x4

Side lateral raises - 45x8, 45x8

Upright rows - 115x6, 115x6

Totally bombed at calculating how much I could do only 4-6 of heh, was a pretty easy workout honestly.

Arms:
warmed up with straight BB curls.

Straight BB curls - 125 x 6, 125 x 5

Alternating DB curls - 60 x 6, 60 x 4

Straight bar cable curl - 180 x 6 (easy - my cable machines are whack)

V bar cable push-downs - 160 x 6, 160 x 6

Skull crushers - 70 x 6 (easy)

Machine tricep extensions - 155 x 6 (easy)

DB wrist curls - 25 x 8 (easy), 50 x 8

BB wrist curls - 95 x 8 letting the bar roll to my fingertips (easy)

Anyway, my thoughts so far on MAX OT are surprisingly positive, I'm getting the same feeling like when I just started working out, like there's a pump in the worked body part for the rest of the day, rather than a fatigue, it's definitely a nice feeling I have not had in awhile.

Plus, cutting my gym time down is a plus, especially during busy hours, just get in, do my thing then get out.  I will have to see how far I progress with this -_-
