Annoying pain that won't go away

So I was lifting a bin full of mortgage loans and the handle ripped up and I ended up jacking like 35-40 lbs (with the weight swinging downward) on my right arm. Well the next few days my arm (fore-arm to my elbow) now hurts like a mofo when I try to grip something. I did the whole workers comp thing..but they didn't find any break or anything..just a muscle thing. So I'm taking anti-inflamitories...and the ice pack... But dammit, it's been like 3 weeks now....I'm laying off workouts that involve my forearm (biceps, SOME lats, etc.), but it's still annoying the hell out of me.... Anyways, they gave me a fore-arm bandage to put around my forearm...I can't understand for the life of me how that's supposed to help things...but whatever, I wear it anyway.... Anyone have this type of injury?

I had something similar happen a long time ago, I cant remember what its called exactly but I got it at just a regular drug store it was called something like glut______. It is for joints and tendons, I took some of that and a little extra vitamin e to help with the blood flow and it started helping after a few days. Mine was more of a constant pain in my elbow that would occasionally shoot down my forearm, might be a little different than what you have but just trying to help you out a little if i can.

The guy I do construction with has to wear one because his elbow is pretty much coming apart. It holds the Ulna and Radius together to take the tension off the ligaments of the elbow. You could help yourself by switch hitting when you need to rub one out, Pappy.

I had something similar happen a long time ago, I cant remember what its called exactly but I got it at just a regular drug store it was called something like glut______. Mine was more of a constant pain in my elbow that would occasionally shoot down my forearm, might be a little different than what you have but just trying to help you out a little if i can. That's pretty close to the pain I feel. It starts in my elbow and yeah...it kind of shoots down my forarm. Think of it this way...grab a book...hold it in your right hand with your hands placement holding the side of the book. Then while holding it, let your arm rest at your side. As I'm holding that book, the pressure of holding it (grip wise) is causing a pain in my elbow. It's weird...if I do overhead lat pulls (I think that's what they're called), I have little discomfort. If I do seated lat pulls, I have pain immediately following the exercise. In any case...I'm pretty much avoiding bicep workout and some lat workout...but it's just annoying the living hell out of me. I'm going to check out a pharmacy to see about something I can take (like mentioned above).

Well keep us posted on anything that happens with it. When I had that problem I was working as a stocker so I had to do a lot of lifting that hurt it a lot but a little Aleve helped out some and it also will help reduce any swelling. Good luck man.
