Amino acids are what your body uses to make proteins. Proteins are what your body uses to make your body.

BCAA's=....drink a bcaa shake during workouts and it will prevent your body from using its own muscle for energy.
NO BELT....you're prolly not lifting heavy enough to need one. Focus on doing deadlifts and such to strengthen your back and when you start like squatting for maxes or going over like 500 then get a belt.

If the back pain occurs as a side effect of medication, a belt will do nothing for that. A belt is used to prevent injury when lifting.

i know how amino acids bond together with peptide bonds and create a polypeptide (protien)...but why wouldnt you just take a protien shake rather than bcaa's? is it because your body can decide which protiens it needs to make using the available amino acids from the bcaa's, rather than the already formed proteins in protein shakes?

You only get a certain amount of BCAA/EAA in your protein powder. They'll usually specify. I know ON has 2+ grams of Leucine (most important) and over a gram of Isoleucine and Valine respectively.  Supplement with additional BCAA's for added support. Leucine, IsoLeucine and Valine. You can find them pretty much anywhere. Oh and BCAA=Branch Chained Amino Acid. Each Amino Acid has a different responsibility in your body.

I'm currently taking .1g/bodyweight of ON Whey before and after my workout in my shake. Should I consider taking BCAAs before or after as well?
