Ok, so my name is adam, im 18 years old and a full time college student. I use to do a lot of swimming and as a result I kept in great shape. The last year I havn't done anything much because of other commitments such as college/gf etc. So I'm in need of some help! Its 2008 and I think it's about time to do something about getting into shape. Now, before I show you my amateur workout day to day routine, let me tell you I am a complete AMATEUR and have no idea what I'm talking about (hence I'm here) so I would be extremly greatful if you can correct me, thanks.
This is my first attempt at constructing a sustainable day to day routine...

- 500 reps. Using Barbell or Dumbells (Only about 12kg weight per arm)

- 300 Circular Arm Motion

- 300 4x leg lifts

- 30minutes punchbag or jogging

- 30minutes Rowing machine/All in one gym/Other

- 1,000 situps/ab crunches

So I realise, this is most likely, completly, and utterly wrong, but hey give me a break :P Thoughts/advice is most welcome. Amateur in need of some desperate help ( as you can probably tell from this ) And i constructed this workout based on what I think I can realistically handle at the moment.

Oh i forgot to mention (If this helps at all) I'm 190 pounds and around 6"3. I'm serious about changing my physique, I know it won't be easy but I'm willing to put in the work, help is extremly appreciated. thanks.
And there is pretty much nothing I'm not willing to do and try.

Okay, you're really lost here, but that's okay. At least you're putting yourself out there and trying to learn.

Whatever that routine was, it wont do much for you. What you need:

Structured weight training routine.

Strategic cardio.

Nutrition, nutrition, nutrition.

Are you trying to lose or gain weight? You didn't really state that, if you let me know I can do more to help. Thanks!
