I have another question... Sometimes it takes me like an hour- 2 hours to finish a meal I just slowly eat it over a long period of time sometimes, usually when Im playing games... Is that okay or do I need to eat it in like 30 min in a meal?

My record is a 45 minutes! I know that some meals can be very...mechanical. Eating slowly is fine if it is because you are masticating your food well..but if it is just lazin and nibbling...man get that meal done! No harm. Burns more calories though.

Okay Im having some troubles with the chicken. It says on the package every 4 oz is 16 G protein. I weighed it before I took the skin off and its around 8-12 ounces (depending on size) than I weighed the ones I took the skin off of and had cooked and it said 4 ounces. Does this mean I eat two of the 4 ounces (before it was cooked and skinned it was 8-12 ounces) or is that an 8 ounce chicken? So confussed.

Use the USDA site for skinless chicken of the type you are eating. 4 ounces of skinless roasted leg is 28g protein... 4 ounces of skinless roasted breast is 37g protein... Measure after cooking and skinning.

Look it up on the USDA site - entries are very specific... Just the meat though. It would say meat and bone without skin , roasted if it included the bone.

Hmm I found Chicken, roasting, meat only, cooked, roasted but there arent any that say with the bone. I dont know how much "units" to put in. It doesnt give oz. only grams cup and 1 unit.

Okay so it's about 113 grams so I put in 1.13 and got the protein. However, does this include the bone? There were none that said "Without bone" -I checked. So I assume they just figured it with the bone ( which is fine if that's the case because I cooked and eat my chicken when the bone is still on ) The one I chose was "Chicken, roasting, meat only, cooked, roasted" - Roasted implys that it has bone on it I recall. What does "Meat Only" mean though is that saying without the bone? Wait no, meat only means no skin. Im getting the hang of this.

Wait no, meat only means no skin. bone-in means with the bone. Meat only means no skin or bone. Just the meat. After you cook one, measure the bone by itself and then you can make the adjustment. Bone is say 3 ounces so you want 7 ounces with the bone..or whatever.
