How to Build Muscle Fast and Lose Fat Quickly in 30 Days A review of the All Star Trainer's Secrets to Maximum Muscle Gain and Maximum Fat Loss in 30 Days Pretty much every site on the Internet that promises such fantastic gains is selling you some pill, some quick method where you don't have to work any harder today but you'll lose the pounds and show you how to build muscle fast without drugs. But the one thing they pitch is exactly why you shouldn't believe any of the hype. In order to build muscle fast and lose fat in 30 days, you will have to work hard. This is all laid out in detail in the 169 pages in the AtoZ All Star Trainer's Secrets to Maximum Muscle Gain and Maximum Fat Loss in 30 Days. Lewis Wolk of AtoZFitness.com asked 11 of the top trainers today (11 of the most knowledgeable and respected trainers in the world, including Tom Venuto, Pete Sisco, David Grisaffi, Jeremy Markum, Phil Campbell, Christopher V. Guerriero and many others!) to put together THEIR plans for building muscle and losing fat in 30 days. Most of these guys preach that building muscle and losing fat at the same time is not the most effective method. 11 out of 11 of them do not condone 4 week transformations. Each of them have similar nutrition guidelines but vastly different training programs. But all of them were intrigued by Lewis' question. Each of them put together a nutrition and training plan that they believe to be the most effective methods to achieve rapid results. There's something for everyone in this book. From the people who have about 30 minutes at most during the day to a full 60 minutes, you will find a program that will work for your needs. Each chapter is a completely separate reading. There is no need to read thru each section like most other fitness book. You can pick the trainer you want to follow for your 4 weeks and they give you a complete nutrition plan along with very detailed training programs for your 30 day transformation. Once you have completed of the 11 author's plans, you can choose another, or do what I've done, and do the same one again for a second month if you really liked a particular training program. What makes this unique from the other fitness books out there is... you get 11 complete training plans (more on the way as Lewis updates the book). Not just 1 from 1 author. The variety of this book is sure to carry you along for a year's time frame easy. Is it possible to build muscle and lose fat at the same time? Sure it is. It's not the most efficient or effective as you are choosing two completely separate goals but the purpose of the book was to challenge each of the authors to come up with a plan they believe would obtain the best overall results. I've found the plan by Tom Venuto on pages 70-79 to be extremely effective for maximum muscle gains and maximum fat loss in about 30 days. Most of my lifts have increased (as they did on a mass building program) and my cardio capacity has increased due to the exact supersetting program he outlines. But if this program isn't your style, there are 10 more complete ones to choose from. Nutrition is discussed in each plan by the author. Some plans layout generally what you should be eating. While other plans layout sample meals plans with the exact foods and portions. This book does not cover nutrition as detailed at Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle but it does cover it enough so that you have a fat burning meal plan laid out and can print out the pages, take it to the grocery store and load up the cart with exactly the foods you'll need to turn your diet into a fat burning meal. As I sat by the pool with this book printed out, I felt a feeling of excitement again when thinking about working out. NO more boring routines. There was much new variety. And the longest program outlined lasted 45-60 minutes. Perfect. This book was full of Quick, hard, intense workout programs, but realistic and achievable in 4 weeks. Before I started this program I weighted in a 182 lbs. By the time I finished, I was 192 lbs and the same percentage of body fat or slightly less. I even got my wife to finally change her routine of 3 years to try something new. She's liking the program so far. All Star Trainer's Secrets to Maximum Muscle Gain and Maximum Fat Loss in 30 Days truly is a one of a kind book and something I would recommend to anybody looking to gain muscle and lose fat in the best timeframe possible. Frustrated by my lack of progress after starting a bulking cycle, I decided to try out this e-book. I like the fact that it has pretty much exact routines laid out for you. There isn't much guesswork at all -- just do what they tell you to. I just finished Tom Venuto's month-long program, which I really enjoyed. I'd been doing a lot of the same excercises over the past year, but this program helped expose me to some that I'd never really tried before. It also introduced me to supersets and short rest intervals, which make for a very intense workout. I saw big gains with my triceps, back, and legs in particular. My overall weight went up by a couple pounds, which I think is all muscle. I think I could have pulled off much better gains if my diet, sleep schedule, and focus were a little better, but it's tough being in college -- especially with all engineering classes and a part-time job. Some of the other programs have caught my eye as well and I'll be trying them at some point. There's also some routines are a little too unusual for my taste, or just not really good for my goals. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, since it just shows you how much variety there is. The chances are pretty good there's at least a few programs in there that are right for you. Overall, I'd say it's worth looking at if you're interested in something new.
