After doing biceps is it normal... - Wednesday, January 10, 2007 5:08 AM
Some time after doing bicep curls, is it normal to feel a sort of 'stiffnes' in the area where the top half of the arm meets the forearm?

Last night I was doing some bicep curls, with protein, and now my biceps feel fine but it's the lower end (opposite side of elbow) that hurts to a small degree.

It feels asthough it's the tendons that are getting pulled, more than the muscle.

Will the tendons toughen up over time? Or is this just doing damage?

Thanks.

Yeah lifting, especially preacher curls (bicep) for me, has always irritated those same exact tendons.  However, it goes away after a couple weeks, I know because I've stopped an started going to the gym like 10x in the past, and who goes to the gym and doesn't lift biceps? lol.

Don't get a bad impression of me though, I love going to the gym now, wheras before I was intimidated and felt like it was a chore.

Cool, cheers guys.

I was getting worried it might be a case of 'tendonosis' or something.

I'm guessing it's a small case of 'tendonitis'?

Sorry if I'm getting this whole thing confused, you can tell I'm new to this

I remember when I first started working out, I went through the same thing and I was kind of worried. Everything went fine though.
