Advice on nutrition

Alright, so I'm a skinny build or an "ectomorph" body type. I'm 5'10 and only 150 pounds. I eat quite a lot already, actually, but I read somewhere that you're supposed to break up what you eat into 6 small meals. So for example, lets say I eat a dinner, normally, of a plate of rice and 2 pieces of chicken. Should I break it up into two meals of 1 piece of chicken and half the amount of rice? I already stopped eating the bad foods of chips, chocolate, cake, candy and such. I get a good amount of protein as well. I am allergic to Fish, Eggs, Peanuts and coconuts, however, so my main source of protein comes from Chicken.

Some people do the six meals thing- It works, so does three whole meals with a protein shake in between each meal too- If you have time and the money to buy and cook six meals everyday, go for it- But if you're in a rush often- The three meals with a protein shake in between can do wonders for you. The general rule for an ectomorph is people tend to rely a lot on milk- Drinking close to a gallon per day or every two days- It's seemed to work for most people, I relied on ice cream when I was an ectomorph during my first bulk. If you're allergic to those food and are looking for some substitutions- I'll reply back in a few hours with help making a diet, right now I'm busy though but I'll hook you up

Lol, drinking close to a gallon of milk per day o_o.Lol, sounds very costly, I'll try that though, thanks.

MVP got it here. Drinking a gallon of milk per day and 3 big meals will put a lot lot lot of mass on your body quick. Make sure you monitor your body fat though, there's no reason to get fat just to put on some muscle.

I'm also an ecto, same height as you and you can easily do it without the mass consumption of milk. Simple 5 meals a day, carbs being pasta, rice, oats (usually 135-145g serving) with either a tin of tuna or 2 chicken breast. Snacks inbetween are nuts and raisins (small amount of raisins are massive amount of carbs), a couple bananas before workout, a protein shake post workout, and it's not a bad idea to have some veggies with each meal either, I usually have about 100g of peas or corn, or a few stems of broccoli. If you can afford asparagus though then thats the bomb. You don't need a few tons of milk with massive amounts of fat.

Yeah- Virt brings up some excellent points (you're on a roll bro)... snacking in between meals with fruits and such can work wonders for you. The milk philosophy is just one way to gain weight (I did so with ice cream) but eating a ton of food can work just as good.
