I'm thinking an excellent new forum would be medical issues. you know, why does my wrist hurt when i..., why do i get a head ache when..., stuff like that. It also could be a good spot for finding alternate training. I broke my foot the a couple months, and couldn't figure out how to train around it really. Thats my two cents, hope fully you guys like the idea.

Giving flat out medical advice would just lend itself to a tasty U.S. lawsuit when somebody shows they got some advice from DB and ended up losing a limb.

That would pretty much ruin this place.

Since most of us are not Doctors nor can proper credibility be established in order to give out professional medical advice, it's ill-advised to have a direct medical forum that displays itself as such.

But suggetions and such are covered in the Injury Prevention forum headed up by Lynx (the black cat).  And he's quite good.

im not a doctor yet or even in med school but my knowledge of prescription medication is slightly destrubing. friends of mine (and some of my family, sisters friends, and some ppl that dont know me that well) ask me for medical advice. i shouldn't really give it but i make sure that i dont bs. if i dont know or think they should really see i dr, i say it but i sorta know my stuff espicially pills. if this does come to life, i will try to contribute but will make sure its known that i have no degree what so ever. i was pretty sure what type of cancer my grandpa had before the doc were certain. im sure they had the same thought i did but had to do more test and be certain but still i know my stuff for someone who's only 20. im sure their is quite a few ppl who know alittle about this stuff and im sure together we could figure out the simple stuff. if some guy says its throwing up and looks green he should see a doc, but maybe ppl could help with bacterial infections.

I have to agree with Marc, its a good idea, but i'm sure some idiot out there will sue him, and like he says theres already a place similar to this idea, its just working around the whole "we are doctors and know what we're doing" as we obviously aren't lol.
