A few general questions about cutting.
-
Monday, October 16, 2006 12:30 PM
So right now I'm using Animal Cuts, Animal Nitro and Animal Pak along with 25minutes of intense cardio after a workout, and a 1hour jog 3times a week. Ofcoarse I only want to loose fat and bodywater, without loosing muscle and maybe get some small gains, would taking creatine be OK? Also, inbetween a big healthy breakfast (7AM) and dinner (7PM) I can only manage to squeeze in a bowl of rice&chicken from the bar at roughly 1PM (gym at 5-6PM), I'm thinking about some ON Whey, anything else? (there is no way in hell I can do anything other than shakes or powerbars...) One last thing, would doing pullups daily coupled with a 4day workout routine cause overtraining? Thanks all.

Taking creatine while cutting is okay! For imbetween meals look into sustain bars or protein. Maybe if you get the protein and in some ground oats and you have a MRP to go. I would drop pull ups daily.

Thanks Coulaid! Bought some ON 100% Whey today, how much should I take per day? I'm 194lbs with a tendency to stack weight quickly (the fat atleast, gonna see how well the muscle stacks :D)

How much whey should you take a day... well its a personal choice. Personally i would stick with pre\post workout. All other times i would say stick to whole foods if possible. But if you cannot have a sandwich or chicken a whey shake is a-okay.

if your looking to cut down...drop your sodium levels and your gonna have to carb deplete to really get that shredded look. Taking supplements such as CLA, L-carnitine, and green tea extract can help you meet your goals or if you wanna really step it up go w/ a ephedrine/caffeine/aspirin stack.
