After finishing chapter 5 of BFFM, I have come to the conclusion I have a good amount of endomorph in me. This can explain why I always go sit down and watch TV rather than wanting to do athletics. This also can explain why while sitting down, instead of being productive, like say, logging a fitness journal, I do nothing. But, I will not use this as an excuse to be lazy, I intend to embrace my endomorphic side and use it as motivation. I need it to get my lazy ass off the couch and computer everyday. Sometimes, I am so lazy, I think to myself, you should go to sleep to be well rested, but instead, I continue to sit on the computer doing nothing productive. So, this being said, be prepared for me to start this journal which I intend to keep. The first workout I log should be tomorrow’s quad and ham workout. I intend to log even “rest” days. I want to see results. Every time they come, I get sidetracked, and when I return, I start back at the bottom of the hill. I need to lift the weights and do the cardio. I need to structure my meal plan and STOP going out with my friends several times a week for food. I need to resist the cravings for delicious sweets. I need to stop making excuses for missing the gym; I only hurt myself in the end. Pester me, do not allow my laziness to continue.

Week One, Day One Today I went into the gym with my friend, I was dead tired. Fueled on 4 hours of sleep and a long day of work, I proceeded to attack my Quads and Hammies. They put up no defense. Must have relaxed too much since they weren't hit in over a month. Well, one things for sure, I won't be walking right tomorrow. I always detest the first Squat day back, they always fail too early. I even went easy by taking 20 lbs of of my last leg day. Squats 1 set of 8 reps @ 165lbs 2 sets of 5 reps@ 165lbs DB Lunges 3 sets of 8 reps @ 15lb DB Stiff Legged Deads 2 sets of 8 reps @ 145lbs 1 set of 5 reps @ 145lbs 20 minutes on a Recumbent Bike The girl I went with will help me make sure I do Cardio. I think on Friday, next time she comes, we are going to do 40 min on the bike. I planned to do Leg Extensions and Leg Curls in addition to what I did, but, I ended up barely able to move. In the stiffies I felt like puking, so I gave up. Next leg day will rock! I will be prepared and hopefully more rested! Stay tuned for tomorrow!

haha, while your first leg day may not have been as intense as mine, youre gonna feel some serious pain in 2 days time most likely, good work btw, your body will get used to the workouts after a week really, they did with me, I am about 30% as sore as i was last week, and ive been pushing myself harder this week.

Don't I know it! Its always like this when I come back, ESPECIALLY legs. So far today they are not sore, which is good, but right now it feels like I am dragging logs. I really wish it won't be too sore tomorrow, because I will be doing deads. Today is just shoulders and triceps... just a preview! Should be ok, I kept up a little more with shoulders.

I just ate 1 before logging on here, strange lol, thats why i put my squats and deadlifts together, so my legs dont quiver for which either exercise wouldve come 2nd lol. 2nd day is always the worst from my personal experience, even before the 2 weeks ive done lol.

I do have them, written on my office wall, with reminders to read them in my outlook calendar. My diet still needs cleaning up. I will get to that very soon. I have to wait until I can get organized, I have no time to prepare right now, But as soon as I have the free time, I already have meals planned out.

Week One, Day Two Today I was dragging my legs behind me all day. Fueled on 5 hours of sleep this time, I went in and left my ego at the door. I did only 30 second rests between sets, and 1 min between excercises. My shoulders got hit pretty good, but tri's didn't really die. Next time I'll up the weight slightly and quiver in pain. Standing Military Press 1 set of 8 reps @ 75lbs 1 set of 6 reps @ 75lbs 1 set of 4 reps @ 75lbs DB Side Raises 3 sets of 8 reps @ 10lbs Reverse Pec Deck 3 sets of 8 reps @ 75lbs Straight Bar Cable Pressdowns 3 sets of 8 reps @ 70lbs Skull Crushers 3 sets of 8 reps @ 35lbs One Arm Overhead DB Extension 3 sets of 8 reps @ 10lbs 20 minutes on a Recumbent Bike For the One Arm Overhead DB Extension's, I left myself no rest, did left, right, left, right, left, right. I can up the weight, but on rep 8 of set 3 I was struggling... It was kind of sad. But My shoulders looked so swole in the mirror and the tris were sticking out nicely aswell. I can walk even less now, silly biking. Tomorrow I am planning Back, Calves, Abs and Cardio... I hope i feel good enough to do Deadlifts and standing calf raises! I forgot to mention, when I do squats, I bring my ass down as far as it goes, almost to the ground.

Lordy, It is with great disappointment I announce that I will not be doing Deadlifts and Bent Over Rows today :( I can barely support my own weight, let alone 200+ more lbs! I will not stop this from getting a good workout though. I will replace it with less straining on the leg excercises today, as for calves, I will only be able to hit them from seated position today. Tomorrow I planned a chest workout, but I think I will REST, and take it Sunday instead of resting Sunday. Then My legs will be good to kill again on Monday I hope!

Week One, Day Three Today I was dragging my legs behind me all day. Fueled on 4 hours of sleep once again, and sore sore glutes and legs. I did a pansy back workout with my little training partner, who smiles the entire time, even when shaking from the strain. Rest was minimal, the time it took us to switch spots to do the excercises. Cable Low Row 1 set of 8 reps @ 115lbs 2 sets of 8 reps @ 130lbs Lat Pull Down 3 sets of 8 reps @ 100lbs Hyper Extensions (BB) 3 sets of 8 reps @ 25lbs Seated Calf Raise 1 set of 12 reps @ 140lbs 2 sets of 12 reps @ 180lbs Light Abdominal work, includin Leg lifts, hanging knee raises, and crunches. 30 minutes on an Upright Bike, 145 BPM I was soaked with sweat. Today was a good day. I printed out my meal plan today and plan to do groceries this weekend. Tomorrow is a rest, Sunday back to gym for chest and Bi's. I don't know if I will be able to make monday, because I have to go to school to sign up for my final presentation. Tuesday, I have class.
