u know likuson, i did buy that product, and the taste was absolutley unbearable. That product gave me absolute diarrhea. Did it give me gains? I cannot tell because I took it for a very short amount of time. Will it give others gains? Ofcourse it will, if you use it right and are consistent,..
Now the whole premise of this product is that if you supplement yourself with simple sugars (dextrose/glucose) pre-digested whey protien (whey HYDROSOLATE), and high concentrations of Leucine-glutamine, BEFORE AND AFTER YOUR WORKOUTS RIGHT AWAY,..your muscle recovery will be much faster, and you will gain muscle faster.
That is fine, but you really dont need to spend $60-$100 for this product.
The product doesnt even contain 100% whey hydrosolate, it contains partial hydrosolate whey protien, which is a downer in my opinion.
So what are the alternatives?
Power Crunch Bars contains 100% whey hydrosolate protien.(very high in glutamine peptides as well) You could eat that before and after. 1 box at vitamin shoppe costs me around $17.
For simple sugars, you can drink orange juice, apple juice or whatever juice or sugary drink you want as long as long as you are consuming atleast 40 grams of sugar. Plus it has vitamin C.
For leucine, just buy leukic tablets or the cheaper leukix tablets, or you can just buy plain generic L-Leucine tablets which is probably the cheapest and just as equipotent as leukic/leukix
For glutamine, glutamine powder is fairly cheap and it dissolves very quickly in anything, so you could put it in your orange juice and you wont notice a difference in taste (keep in mind anator does NOT contain EXTRA glutamine)
Anator also contains creatine, but you are consuming extra creatine anyways, whether it is from cell tech or whatever creatine you use. I personally prefer kre-alkalyn because you only have to consume a max of 4 caps a day. 2 caps in the morning and 2 caps after you work out. Its not that hard, and it only costs $20. So this whole extra creatine in anator is not necessary at all.
Alternative 2 is to purchase:
Proto-Whey powder. Made from the same company as power crunch bars, and it contains 100% whey HYDROSOLATE. Buy whatever flavor you want, and it only costs around $14-$20
I prefer capuccino and vanilla. So i add 1 scoop of vanilla proto-whey, add 1 banana, vanilla icecream, skim milk, add glutamine powder, and whoala i got the same thing as anator. Minus the leucine and creatine. Remember you are getting the leucine from leucine tablets and creatine from whatever else creatine your using (in my case leukic and kre-alkalyn)
No where in your profile does it say that you lift weights as a hobby, and just having general knowledge of chemistry doesn't mean you are a resident expert on this supplement.
I do lift, and i will be posting my results on my regimen soon around june time. You dont need your profile to say you lift wieghts as a hobby because the whole point of joining this forum and creating a screename is that you are interested in physical fitness. As far as i am concerned i think i have more credibility then you considering how many times i have replied in this forum compared to your measly ****ty 1 post.
someone paid you to bash this product
No one has paid me to do such a thing. Im a student drowning in loans, i wish someone would pay me to give my opinions on what i think of supplements. Muscletech is not that bad, I do like Gakic and Leukic, but it only gives me moderate results at best, so it is not necessary to spend $50-$80 dollars on such things. I did try hydroxycut hardcore, and that gave me red colored stools, i literally thought my ass was bleeding, but it was just the discoloration it caused from using that product. I also felt very jittery and it totally supressed my appetite, something opposite of what im trying to do, and that is to consume more calories to gain more muscle. Muscle tech is the king of hype and bull****.
Consider Aplodan or whatver. You know what it is? Alpha-Lipoic acid and plain creatine. Instead of writing those things in the back of the label, they gave the chemical name, so poor saps like you would fall for it not knowing what it is, and spend $100 on that crap because Jay Cutler used it.
Critical thinking skills? Sorry, but not everyone has the abilitiy to go to a biochemist lab and get blood work done just to find out what supplement works for them.
You dont need to go to a biochemist to see whether or not its working for you, but you do need to make sure that you have some degree of skepticism and doubt before purchasing the product, which i think is healthy cause it saves you money. Its just that simple dude. Be informed, consider all options and then if you want to buy it then buy it.
