A small tribute to a big person - Wednesday, June 27, 2007 1:22 PM ( #1 )

You're such a big inspiration for everyone on these boards; never faultering to show that health should be for a lifetime, so I made this small tribute in gratitude of the incredible driving force that you are, and should be, to all bodybuilders of every age...thanks!

Thanks, Fuzzypanda.  I do have one request.  Would you mind making me less tan? Believe it or not, I'm Caucasian.  I do tend to get very dark for my shows.  LOL

Thank you for the comic relief...I always thought you were black too (from the avatar) until I checked out your link. Do you happen to get mistaken in person too? Is this like the book 'Black Like Me'?

Backstage at the 2007 NPA Nationals and Masters Universe in Ft. Lee, Virginia, two competitors I knew from the Organization of Competitive Bodybuilders (OCB) Board saw me and said, "Old Navy, is that you?  Man, we thought you were Black!"  We got a big laugh out of that.

I am Spanish and German, but, when I get ready for a contest, I try to tan as dark as I can, so the stage lights don't hide my cuts.

So, will you "lighten" the Tribute for me?  Thanks again.
