There are a few nutrition career tracks.
Clinical nutrition (RD) and Sport nutrition being the main splits

You can skim the ISSN website (not a very complex site) as this is one organization that deals with nutrition for sport in all its applications
http://www.sportsnutritionsociety.org ADA has sport or normal programs and are the head of the beast..look at their career page for some tools also. (complex site)
http://www.eatright.org This is the ADAs more sport and wellness oriented arm
http://www.scandpg.org/ Just a note...you should get some idea of what you want to do with this when you start, but after the first core classes are done you might do some interning or such and see what really excites you. Then you can really focus your studies.
