how much numbers do suits and knee supports increase? but yea, that guy was strong as hell and he weighs as much as i do, but squats three times more! :| without suits and bands and chemical assistance, any idea how much he could squat? maybe 600.. ?

I can't really give you a complete honest answer to that IronMan. Unfortunately, I'm not too familiar with certain powerlifting standards...like how much a suit adds to your squat and deadlift..some say it doesn't add much to your deadlift but a lot to your squat and bench..I even have a friend powerlifter that says some people can lift more without a suit (although I doubt this). I'd say personally, although you'd ideally want another intelligent person to answer this with a more accurate response - a +800lb squat in a suit depended upon the individual, it would be equally impressive about a +700lb squat or so, raw.. maybe I'm wrong.

Just wathching that makes me sh*t my pants. The pressure on his knees must be phenomenal.

double ply suit easily100-200 lbs out of it when you are up close to over 1k squat. Lower weight you won't get that much out of it. It also depends on the material, canvas or denim suits are even available. Jay fry claims he can get an extra 315 lbs or so out of his bench shirt which is a double ply. A lot of local competitions will only allow a single ply standard suit. It's rare to see a powerlifter with those kind of quads.

not dissing the guy that was a hell of alot of weight , BUT when it comes to suits and wraps to keep yourself from exploding , your going to far id say hes looking at a 600-645 range without support but more power to him for dong that especially at his weight i love raw lifting and thinks its the purest form of powerlifting

I repped 535 in high school weighing 145 lbs. didn't realize it but it was a world record at the time for non-enhancers. Wore nike's and mesh football shorts. I did wear a belt but no crazy knee straps. would love to be able to do that today 15 years later but max out at about 350. I only work legs once a week compared to 3xweek back then. My theory is to squat fast to build explosiveness. Ran a 4.3. I think there is a lot to be said for fast lifting, not careless, but fast and in control.
