5'6 and 63lbs lost - Help me finish this! PICS INSIDE - Thursday, August 27, 2009 10:08 AM ( #1 )
I'm 5'6 and currently weighing in at exactly 150lbs. I started at 213 and have worked my way down. I was very into doing cardio involving lots of running and playing basketball.

I currently have been doing some weight lifting, push ups, etc etc.

My meal plan is basically.
-3/4cup cereal (honeybunches of oats)
-a little bit of fat free milk with it

-sandwich, chili, or something i can get my hands on that is remotely healthy for my lunch break (6" subway sub)

-grilled chicken with steamed brocolli

-all water or some diet sodas.

I do weight lifting for 30 minutes two times a week right now since i'm stuck with work and school taking up time. I do want to start lifting more.

Cardio give or take 2 times a week with my schedule.

Any plans or ideas to help me would be great. I keep hearing about keto but have no clue what it is.

I have a lot of really really really I cannot stress enough fat in my stomache that is like water. It is like I have a big jug of water in my lower stomache when I touch it, it reacts almost like you touch water.

All help GREATLY appreciated.

I am about 155 in the pictures here.

Diet Soda is an oxymoron. I would cut it completely out of your diet and replace it with ...say...a healthy V8 drink or something

Also, the "watery fat" on your lower stomach probably isn't that. It is more than likely loose skin....your skin has been stretched out for a long period of time to hold all of the 213 pounds you were previously carrying around. Although the fat has been lost, the skin is still stretched out and designed for carrying the initial 213 pounds.

Will it ever return to normal? I know that surgery can fix it, but other than that, I think it will SLOWLY be fixed over time. It will probably take years..

It might very well be loose and excess skin but looks to me like he might still have some residual fat. If it is loose skin you might try some vitamin E lotion, as it seems to have helped me with the same thing. Did wonders on a nasty surgical scar I had. Working your Abs won't hurt, but might not help excess skin.

Yes Jashton welcome to the forum and you have done a great job loosing weight. You are young still. concentrate on building strength and reducing your body fat % and the loose skin in time will take care of itself.
