This is me with a home made 5 day split routine Chest Triceps Monday Bench Press Incline Press DB Flat Flies Close Grip Bench Tricep Extensions Tricep Kick-backs Back Bis Tuesday Deadlifts Pulls Ups BB Curl Incline DB curl DB Rows BB Rows Hammer Curls Legs Abs Wednesday Lunges Calf Raises SLDL Squat Knee Raises Sit Ups Crunches Shoulders Thursday OH Press Bent Lateral Raises 90 Lateral Raises Arnolds Shrugs Arms Day Friday BB Curls KickBacks DB curls Chins Ups Tricep Extensions Skull Crushers Basically its a week split in 5 chest tris back bis legs abs shoulders and 5th day a ego arm blasting day. Critique away BTW: to gain weight you need to eat tremenduous amount of food.. does it work the same to gain strength?

I would take out the shoulder day. They are a tiny muscle and hardly ever need a day designated for them alone. The lateral deltoid is the only part of the muscle that isnt constantly hit. Throw them in some other day. Otherwise you got a pretty generic work out there.

I love shoulder day, dont know why you would eliminate it. One thing I would change is the order. Put back and legs at least one day a part because of the deadlifts in your back day.
