ORIGINAL: TheSilverFox ORIGINAL: boomersooner1331 did you do cardio? boomer, it's in post #22, second paragraph from the bottom. i copied and pasted it for you here though. "HST is more of a workout principal than an exact workout. Basically you are working the full body 3 or 4 times a week focusing mainly on compound lifts and then throwing in some isolation work as desired. We lift 3 times a week with our HST routine. The other 4 days I do cardio (either run at a decent pace for 30 to 40 min. or do some sort of HIIT cardio for 20+ min., basically until I feel like my lungs are going to explode). If I feel like I have energy to spare I'll hop on the treadmill after my weight lifting is done for like 20 min. On my cardio days though I prefer to run outside and get some sun and fresh air. " oh, my bad. thanks

wow, so you went the fad diet route than MDC. basically you just ate extremly well, worked really hard, really dedicated yourself to your goal and made a lifestyle change as a whole. thats weak! you should have went the tried and true method of eating no carbs and tons of bacon! or maybe the never fail of maple surup and lime juice. psh!
No the leg press is not the same as doing squats.

I might be cutting real soon! I think I am going to incorporate an HST routine as well, with some cardio during the rest days. Thanks for the ideas, and great job with your body. I mean, GREEEAT.

Lol. I know..what was I thinking? That's why I can't help but laugh everytime someone wants to know what my "secret" is. Diet and exercise and hard work isn't much of a secret but that's not what most people want to hear. They want to hear that you just popped hydroxycut and ate a bunch of meat and like magic you lost 40 lbs. Sucks to have to disapoint them. :p

Where's YOUR ebook? You've made more gains and look better than all the 6 pack abs products coming out! Lemme guess... Hard work, better nutrition... fantastic transformation! I love seeing short but sweet success stories like that.

I love seeing short but sweet success stories like that. Got a comment from Mr. DBB himself! I must be doing something right. Quick question for you guys. What are your thoughts on ab workouts? Should I be hitting them everyday? Should I be giving them rest peroids like I do my other muscle groups? I'd really like to work on my core strength and obviously take advantage of the drop in BF% by really making my abs "pop". Weighted with lower reps? Or just go to failure with un-weighted high reps? Let me know what has worked for you guys when you've really wanted to hit your abs hard.

Let me know what has worked for you guys when you've really wanted to hit your abs hard. Do weighted with lower reps. Abs can basically be trained everyday. However, listen to your body. If I were you, I would not want to work on my abs while they are still sore...

Abs are like any other muscle in your body and thus should be trained as so. rest them accordingly.
