I decided to bench (coincidentally) 33% of my BW at that moment in time which was 150lbs, i could do it 41 times, im heavier now and havent done it in a while, i will do, but i was just wondering who here has endurance to bench 33% of there BW for a certain amount of reps.

I was going ready to do 100-200 in ONE sitting (no rest)
and i got to 35 and my delts just screamed like a ****, my chest and arms were fine though.

Wait..so you benched 33% of your body weight, which is 150lbs. That means you weigh 450 pounds? I am thinking i misunderstood you here...

My thoughts also, i may not post much here, but I lurk around the topics enough to get a feel for everybody. Sometimes i scare myself with how much i know about people i dont talk to. Smile

My BW is 150lbs, therefore for 1/3 was 50lbs lol, sorry worded it wrongly.

For me that would be 45 pounds..let me go check and see how many times i can do that. Alright, so, 45 pounds, I can do 48 times. My chest and shoulders dont hurt at all..my arms felt like they were going to burst.

ive never tried it with a third of my body weight, but at the end of every session i do a burn out with 130lbs, until my triceps are so sore i feel like one more rep is going to make my cry

after reading this i tried 1/3 of my body weight which was 80 pound and i got up to 41. my chest ached a little, my tri's we're gettin super sore, but i found that my delts did hurt the most. well that's my shering for the day.

so 63 lbs is what I'd have to do?  I never tried that, But at one point I was doing 95lbs for endurance, and I could do 30 some... but then the weight felt like 300 lbs and i coudn't get it off my chest.. was a sad day in the gym when I was seen pinned under 95 lbs.

thats like 125 for me...and i could do that like 100 times at least....but i would never try it because i just dont much results form doing that high of reps for some reason...once i pass a certain amunt of reps i dont get much from it.

ive tried that test and i get to about 70 and from counting out loud so i dont lose track i stop breting right and need to rest...next time ill ahve someone count for me and ill jsut breathe....kills my triceps mainly....no try 1/3 of weight..... stopping two inches from chest and not extending fully and squeezing chest....see how many you can get.
