30 Days later.. - Friday, June 09, 2006 3:33 PM
And I haven't gained a freakin ounce! My body feels different and shoulders look a little broader but not much else. Plus the joint in my shoulder is sore 24/7 oh and it's a double jointed as well. Right now it's slightly burning. I've stopped training until it stopped hurting and that was a week ago. Think I should see a doc about my shoulder or just keep taking pain meds?

Definitely go see a doc. Pain is your body's way of letting you know something's wrong- Pain killers simply kill the message, not the cause of it. Hopefully it's something minor.
When it comes to your gains, it doesn't happen overnight- And not even in thirty days. Even when your diet's up to speed (Is it, by the way? List how many calories you're getting a day, and their sources.) it can take at least a couple of months for your body to really respond.

Well, I talked to my nutritionist about it and she said I probably just pulled a muscle in there. Oh and the diet's kinda been going downhill since money's tight and I can't get a job aound here. My dad does the shopping and we're both unemployed and he basicly gets cheap stuff with no nutritional value like ramen. (really don't like that stuff. nothing but salt) and maybe sometimes some lean pockets and fresh veggies but when it comes to fruits. nothing really. By the way, I'm only 17. That's why I'm still livin with him. Oh and I'm 5'11" at 15. I know, I'm a featherweight compared to everyone else around here. XP

Sorry to tell you, but without the proper diet, you're not going to see much in the way of muscle gains.

True- But the diet makes the difference. Where do you live, and what type of work would you do?

You wont make good gains without a good diet. Thats just plain wrong. And its definitely not what you want to tell a young kid who is just looking to start bodybuilding.

If you going to give advice dude, make sure its correct.

That is WRONG, bad diet = no gains
Of all the things I have lost; I miss my mind the most.

If quizzes are quizzical, what are tests?

If corn oil is made from corn, and vegetable oil is made from vegetables, then what is baby oil made from?
