I'm definitely in. I'm very interested in either 8 weeks or maybe 12 weeks? I'm down for either one. It would be awesome to have some additional motivation to getting my but in shape for summer...so count me in!

Just to let y'all know, Health Central comes right and tells you that there is a =/- 3-5% margin of error: quote:
About This Body Fat Test Covert Bailey believes that knowing percent body fat tells you more about your body than any other test. It tells you what your correct weight ought to be, how much fat you have, how much muscle, and what exactly you need to gain or lose. Knowing this one number allows you to design an exercise program to maximize your efforts. How Accurate Is This Body Fat Test? This tape-measure test is used to estimate your percent body fat. It is usually quite accurate-- so if a man got 17 percent from this test, he could expect his true percent body fat to be anywhere between 15 and 19 percent. For some people, however, the results of the tape measure test may not come so close to their true percent body fat. People who are very, very fit can get numbers 3 to 5 percent higher than their true percent body fat. Because they don't have a lot of fat inside their muscles, very fit people may be lower in body fat than this tape measure test indicates. Conversely, if a person is skinny but not fit, this body fat test may yield a number 3 to 5 percent lower than his or her true percent body fat. Though they look thin, unfit skinny people really have more than the usual amount of fat inside their muscles, which you can't see from the outside. So, what's the bottom line? For many people, this tape measure test is quite accurate, it puts you in control, it can be done frequently and it costs nothing. The most valuable aspect is that you can test yourself and you can see change over time. I prefer to use this test, only because I know I have more fat around my waist than anywhere else in my body, and my forearms and legs have the least amount. This test measures the foreamrs, hips, waist, and wrist. It takes into account bone size (which can be determined from the wrist, since that is typically the boniest spot. Completely up to you guys what you want to do. I'm still going to use this because I feel it represents a truer comparison of my bodyfat than any other thing. All the other tests had me at 30% bodyfat. While I realize I have a lot of work to do, I KNOW I'm not 30% bodyfat. When I first had my fitness test at my old gym, without even excercising, I had a 23% bodyfat! The trainer looked at me, looked at the paper, remeasured and then just shook his head. Just goes to prove that not everything that works for one person will work for another. Why I didn't think of that when I originally posted this, is beyond me! LOL.

yea I'm sure one link isn't going to be the most accurate for everyone. but how about if everyone posts their bf% and what site they used and then they have to use the same site to calculate their results?

yeah, but what killed me was Memorial Day, then two weeks later was my buddy's bachelor party ( I think I drank a year's worth of beer that night alone!). Then there were some other stuff going on. But I stuck through it. A lot of others in that contest dropped like flies. I think I have my routine down good enough right now that I can get in my workouts 3 days a week, and cardio 3 other days, and rest one day. Eventually I want to get cardio up to 6 days, but we'll see what happens. I have to warn everyone I'm not going to be making massive changes unless they need to be done. I'm not reeally cutting per se, just really watching what my body does to different things that I try to loose fat. I'm not looking for an easy way to loose fat, I'm looking for an easy way to keep it off long-term by habit. Not that everyone else is looking for the easy way to loose, I'm just downright coming out and saying I'm probably not going to do very well in this contest because I'm not really trying to cut, just force my body to adapt to new habits, which is why I picked 14 weeks. 8 weeks was how long the other one lasted, I believe. Just not long enough to have time to change things around if needed, IMHO.

Yea OK sign me up for this thing. But when they say waist...do they mean your natural waist or your abdomen? because they are different, and usually different measurements. Here's what I got YMCA- 13 Zone perfect - 13 circumfrence 13.8 mybodycomp.com- 10.6 (but I always add 3 to that and it's usually right so 13.6) Just say when this get's started
