Has anyone hear of the bicep work called 21 with the curl bar?? I want to hear everyones thoughts about it....

Thats the one where you do 7 low to mid reps, 7 mid to upper reps and then 7 full reps all in one set, right? I think this one falls along with pyramids, and negatives. Every once and a while is great but not as a regular weekly exercise.

i love to do em. i have done them about 2 times a week for around 2 or 3 months and gained a half to one full inch

Wooooo, welcome to the boards! I'm sure you'll learn a lot here.


We always called them Triple 7's or 7-7-7's. You gotta wonder who came up with this excersise and why they chose 7 reps? I like the idea of breaking up the movement into portions. I've heard, if you're hitting a plateau on say bench, take the hardest portion of the movement and only excersise that portion for a while.

I've heard of crazy 8's or was it triple 8's, its the samething as 21 or triple 7's but 8
